Windproud[1] was a ship belonging to Steffon Baratheon, Lord of Storm's End. It sank during a raging storm on Shipbreaker Bay in 278 AC,[a] killing Lord Steffon and his wife, Cassana.[1]

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the Windproud was a two-masted galley with a hundred oarsmen and sailors. Lord Steffon and Lady Cassana traveled to the Free Cities on the galley to find a potential wife for Rhaegar Targaryen. On their return, the Windproud broke up during a storm on Shipbreaker Bay as Robert and Stannis looked on. There were no survivors, save the fool Patchface, who washed up on shore half-mad.
