What would you like to see happen if and when Jon and Daenerys ever meet and learn that they are family? In one of the many reaction videos to Jon's death in Season 5, there is one girl wailing about she wanted to see them get together and have a bunch of babies. That would obviously ve risky if they are in fact aunt and nephew and considering the fact that half the Targaryens went mad due to their compound inbreeding. I would be amused if Dany fell in love with Jon and he either rebuffs or tries to play it cool, her being his aunt and all. What would you like to see happen?
Only on Game of Thrones do people justify individuals within the same family marrying each other and having children, haha. I don't know if they'll die, but I'm 95% sure they will not marry and have babies. I feel like they won't have children at all by the end of the show.
Here's the thing though, Dany and Jon wouldn't consider it inbreeding. Westeros is really weird when it comes to incest. Tradition has it that sibling/sibling and parent/child relations are disgusting and evil. But at the same time cousin/cousin and uncle/niece-aunt/nephew is acceptable, socially. In fact there was once a Lord of Winterfell who married his niece and nobody cared.
Considering Tywin married and bedded his first cousin Joanna -- Jaime, Cersei, and Tyrion's mother -- it really didn't surprise me at all that Jon and Dany eventually hooked up; I knew that was likely to happen. Hell, I even knew, or had a really strong suspicion, that Jon was a Targaryen from the beginning. Maybe not in the first season but my suspicions about it were much stronger come the second and third seasons. I also had my doubts Dany would eventually sit on the throne as she's always wanted, I just didn't know how things would end indefinitely for her. However, my strong and sneaking suspicion that Jon would ultimately be her undoing did prove to be true. While I definitely couldn't have guessed everything that eventually happened, I was pleased to see that few of my theories had in fact been proven true in the end.
