I would like to point out that in the "in the books" section, it is stated that Stannis could not have been the prince who was promised as he is not of the Targaryen bloodline, however House Baratheon was originally created by a bastard of House Targaryen, as shown on the Timeline page. 07:30, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

Title change

This page needs to be unblocked or someone needs to change the title. In the show it's The Prince WHO Was Promised, not THAT was promised.

In 'Book of the Stranger' Melissandre says to Davos 'He is the Prince THAT was Promised' while referring to Jon so the title still works.LilyForrester (talk) 21:25, July 28, 2016 (UTC)

false information

" and after considering the written prophecies, comes to the same conclusion as the Red Priests of Volantis, that Daenerys is the One Who Was Promised "

This is false. There is no indication that she believes Daenerys is the one who was promised. She says both Jon and Daenerys have a part to play. She does not affirm the Red Priests of Volantis' interpretation that Daenerys is the one who was promised.

I agree, which was I initially made a few tweaks to that paragraph, but Ragestorm changed it back. I'll try again. Shaneymike (talk) 08:48, August 2, 2017 (UTC)
