I'm wondering how it is possible for any kind of crocodilian species, or indeed, any large, cold-blooded species, could survive in the North? Would have to be some hydrothermal vents around the swamplands?

The Neck is the southernmmost part of "the North" - to the point that it's an entirely unique climate zone. It's full of warm swamps and wetlands.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 01:14, January 5, 2014 (UTC)
