Gordian knot comparison[]
"Just as Alexander the Great solved the issue of the Gordian Knot by cleaving it in two, Martin solved the problem by separating the story into two volumes, hence why A Feast for Crows and A Dance With Dragons deal with concurrent events."
This is a cute comparison, but it doesn't truly make a lot of sense. Saying the Meereenese Knot is somehow "solved" is nonsense. KarstenO (talk) 18:46, May 18, 2016 (UTC)
