This page is in dire need of character episode recaps. LordofOnions (Talk) 21:35, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

I'll work on that shortly! :) QueenBuffy35px-Pink crown 02:57, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

I'm always so undecided with Jorah.  Mostly I think he's a good guy at heart but I think he allows his past to dictate present decisions too often.  I really do hope he finds his way back in season 3. Kneesie (talk) 21:42, January 13, 2013 (UTC) Not you, fat Jesus.

What was wrong with previous picture of Jorah? I think this one is blury, previous one was better Salvador90 (talk) 18:18, May 12, 2014 (UTC)

Regarding the sentence "He is called Jorah the Andal by the Dothraki, as they apparently assume that all people from Westeros are Andals.", in the episode s01e03 "Lord Snow" (around 47:19), in the scene were Jorah Mormont is seen discussing the advantage of curved vs piercing blades regarding armor, the dothraki presents does speak of Jorah Mormont father as "Jorah the Andal" so i wonder if there is no confusion in the above affirmation. Does he is called "Jorah the Andal" in honor of his supposedly famous fighter of father or because some confusion about Westeros people as Andals?

Well if I've understood you correctly, I'm pretty sure it's just because all Dothraki assume that all Westerosi people are Andals. He is a Northman however and would keep the old gods. Son Of Fire (talk) 03:30, November 16, 2014 (UTC)

Relationships[]

I understand the need to simplify the relationships in the infobox, but what's wrong with keeping the paternal/maternal differentiators? ~ Lilyflower422 (talk) 05:56, July 5, 2016 (UTC)

On a different note, almost all the other pages have "nephew/niece by marriage"…should those be removed, too? They are still family. ~ Lilyflower422 (talk) 05:59, July 5, 2016 (UTC)
We're going to be reviewing all of those as a major ongoing task.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 06:07, July 5, 2016 (UTC)

Lyanna Mormont?[]

How is she related to Jorah? QueenBuffy35px-Pink crown 20:56, April 15, 2019 (UTC)

They are cousins. Did you see the Mormont family tree? They are both on it.

Ser Shield McShield (talk) 21:15, April 15, 2019 (UTC)

She’s his cousin. Jorah’s father, Jeor, and Lyanna’s mother, Maege, were brother and sister. When Jeor renounced his lands and title to join the Night’s Watch, Jorah inherited Bear Island. But after Jorah disgraced himself and was exiled, Maege Mormont became Head of House Mormont and Lady of Bear Island, as Jorah had no siblings or children of his own. After Maege’s death in the War of the Five Kings, her daughter, Lyanna, was next in line. ~ Lilyflower422 (talk) 21:19, April 15, 2019 (UTC)

Head of House Mormont in S8E3[]

Since he died after Lyanna, technically he was the head of House Mormont and Lord of Bear Island again. --Potsk (talk) 21:11, September 13, 2019 (UTC)
