From Lands of Ice and Fire, I think the island is called "Ib" and the "Port of Ibben" is the name of the city on it.

Many assumed "Port of Ibben" to mean "Port of the island named Ibben", when now it seems to actually mean "The Port of Ibben" in the sense that one might say "the port of King's Landing" or "the port/city of London", which is located on a landmass with a different name.

I am not sure how to address this in the article.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 23:02, May 29, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, new plan: this has been an issue for a while but I'm moving the page to "Ib" due to later confirmed usage. The early TV map is simply mislabeled, no need to perpetuate their unintentional mistake.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 23:53, November 19, 2016 (UTC)
