  • Young Baela = Shani Smethurst
  • Young Rhaena = Eva Ossei-Gerning
  • Adult Laena Velaryon = Banna Blondell
  • Cargyll twins = Elliott & Luke Tittensor

Reasonably sure about:

  • Young Aegon II = Ty Tennant
  • Young Aemond = Leo Ashton
  • Young Helaena = Evie Allen
  • Adult Helaena = Phia Saban - confirmed on March 30, 2022
  • Young Jace = Leo Hart

  • Lorent Marbrand = Max Wrottesley

As for younger children, we have seen sets of twin toddlers on their mother's Instagram who have been cast, apparently as one character but using twins because of labor laws limiting work hours (as is common practice). The rumor is that Joffrey Velaryon, Aegon III, Viserys II, and Aegon II's twins will all appear in season one...but they're just small children. Babies and toddlers. Not major "castings" as such.

Rumor is that Alicent's third son Daeron the Daring hasn't been "cut" but will not appear in Season 1, much as Renly's brother Stannis or Loras's sister Margaery didn't appear in GoT Season 1. Rumor is they will mention him in dialogue. Not really "cutting" him if you think about it: during the timeframe of The Rogue Prince, during the major feast scenes and such that will be focused on, he's already left to go squire in Oldtown. So he's "away at university" as it were, off-screen.

The other rumor is that Season 1 ends with the Dance over Storm's End. Rhaenyra sends her sons on diplomatic missions seeking alliances with the Great Houses: Luke to Storm's End, Jace to the Eyrie then to Winterfell. The rumor is that we'll simply see Jace leaving but then only show what happens to Luke at Storm's End...and then they'll show Jace's mission at the beginning of Season 2. It would take too much time to introduce the Arryns and Starks so they're pushing it to the Season 2 premiere - which is good, give it the time it deserves.

There's suspicions that Sebastian Croft might cameo as Young Cregan Stark earlier in Season 1, but it's unknown if Cregan appears at all in Season 1.

Update March 30, 2022: new cast announcement wave completely matched the rumors going around - though some had been seen in spy photos and were obvious: Aegon II, Aemond, Jace. Also confirmed the suspected Baela, Rhaena, and Helaena.

Curiously didn't confirm Luke Velaryon.

Other suspected cast members are all "Young" Versions of Rhaenyra & Alicent's children, who will at best appear in 2 episodes, the sixth and seventh. Might be younger versions of Alicent's eldest child Aegon II (they cast child actors), but they're just small children. Conversely, "Adult Laena" who will also only appear in episodes 6 and 7. Another one-shot guest star is the rumor that Sian Brooke is playing Queen Aemma Arryn - a short but prominent role, as she'll die in the first episode, setting the plot in motion.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 21:34, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

Also haven't confirmed other Kingsguard like the Cargyll twins (who we saw in spy photos) or Lorent Marbrand (Max Wrottesley?)

Otherwise, we don't have specific rumors if Cregan Stark, Jeyne Arrn, etc. even appear in Season 1.

I have heard rumors about the Baratheons but they're so specific I don't want to get anyone in trouble by sharing them.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 18:41, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

House of the Dragon Season 1 Outline[]

From researching leak reports extensively on Reddit and Instagram, cross-referenced with spy photos, etc. This is the season outline as best I'm able to piece it together. Some of this information isn't confirmed:

(sigh) unfortunately for us, that doesn't confirm who he's specifically playing.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 21:33, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

Screw it, add him in but leave a citation that "technically this hasn't been officially confirmed, but he's joined the show in some capacity, and from Tolkien he's known for playing younger versions of Tom Glynn-Carney".--The Dragon Demands (talk) 22:12, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

Leaked episode titles[]

So it appears as though the leaked episode titles are indeed correct, though we should wait for official confirmation before inserting leaked information as fact. — Darth Dracarys (talk) 02:01, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

Did you make sure the website referenced for the first two titles isn't user-edited like IMDb and so forth? —Potsk signature (talk) 02:04, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
The website covers national TV listings for Canada. I created an account to see if there was an edit feature similar to IMDb, of which there is none. — Darth Dracarys (talk) 02:09, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
