Dragon glass weapons found in season 2.[]

Hi, I can't edit the actual page without registering, but I can comment. The dragon glass weapons found by sam and company in the north are actually spear heads, not daggers. Search "spear head" on google images for many similar examples. 72.91.179.26 01:11, June 4, 2012 (UTC)

Does anyone know what they were actually digging for when they found the dragonglass (and warhorn, in the books - by Jon) cache, under the shield with the markings of the First Men?

Can't figure out why they were digging in the first place....

Secondly, It's a little ironic that the Children created the Others by driving dragonglass into the hearts of First Men, however dragonglass can then be used to kill them.  Anyone have any more info on this?

I believe they were looking for moose shit to burn when they stumbled upon the cache.

In regards to your second point, I don't think there is any additional info about this since how the White Walkers were created has only been revealed in the show and not in the books.

Dragonglass vs Wights[]

We know that in the books Dragonglass has no effect on Wights, but in the show it does seem to have an effect, such as the Bear wight dropping after Jorah stabbed it with his Dragonglass dagger, and the Wights dropping to the dragonglass weapons on the frozen lake battle? Do you think it should be mentioned in the article? Harbinger141 (talk) 11:06, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
