Okay, new rule: there will only be articles on real-life animals if there are sub-pages for individuals on the wiki - i.e. "Ser Pounce" is a specific cat, so that warrants an article on "cats". If someone names their sheep, we'd have an article on sheep - but they haven't yet, so we don't. An individual bear appeared so prominently in Season 3 that we'll throw that one in (I'm impressed they went that extra step and hired a real actor-bear, instead of just using crappy CGI).

As said before, "Horses" are important enough to warrant their own page (similar to "Ravens" I guess), and there are individual horses (albeit we know their names from the books).

Otherwise, I envision eventually having an image gallery at the bottom of this page as a catch-all for animals which appear "on-screen", i.e. a screenshot of a sheep, a screenshot of a goat, etc. etc. Not exactly a high priority at the moment. If we see Volantis eventually, we would have an article on "elephants" because 1 - they are cool, 2 - their use as war elephants means we'd have something to actually talk about, 3 - pygmy elephants are more common than horses in Volantis so we'd have something even more specific to discuss.

Otherwise we're not going to be expanding "real life animals" that much.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 02:30, August 10, 2014 (UTC)

What about eagles (Orell's eagle) and owls (Thenn warg's owl)?Gonzalo84 (talk) 03:27, August 10, 2014 (UTC)
Add them to the list I think, but not actual articles. I mean, what would we have to say in an article on "eagles"?--The Dragon Demands (talk) 04:18, August 10, 2014 (UTC)

Drmrc (talk) 03:47, April 23, 2016 (UTC) Pomegranates is listed under Animals when that is not an animal it should be removed from the list.
