Location[]
The Maesters are located in every major city, town, and castle. In contrast, have they ever mentioned Alchemists outside of King's Landing? Or have they dwindled to the point that they only exist in the major cities, possibly only in the capital city itself?--The Dragon Demands (talk) 18:05, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

- I put down a line about that they would only be encountered in a major city, just so TV-first fans won't be confused that we see Maesters even at Winterfell, and therefore jump to the conclusion that alchemists are at literally every castle as well. Given their decline and apparent absence, they don't really seem to be that widespread.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 18:59, January 17, 2013 (UTC)
