Biography[]
House of the Dragon: Season 2[]
During the Red Sowing, Elinda Massey contacts Denys in King's Landing, summoning him to Dragonstone. He is the first to approach Vermithor and attempt to claim him. He fails, and the dragon burns him alive.[1]
In the books[]
In Fire & Blood, Silver Denys lived on Dragonstone at the start of the Dance of the Dragons. He claimed descent from a bastard son of King Maegor the Cruel, though many doubted this as Maegor was widely believed to have been sterile. None denied that Denys must have had some Valyrian blood (through some other, unspecified path) due to his classic Valyrian features of silver hair and purple eyes.[2]
Denys attempted to claim Sheepstealer, not Vermithor. Sheepstealer ripped his arm off, and while his sons were trying to staunch the wound, the Cannibal descended on them and devoured them all.
