The royal fanfare is a musical flourish used to signal the King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men.
History[]
House of the Dragon: Season 1[]
The royal fanfare is played by trumpeters when Aegon II Targaryen enters the Dragonpit for his coronation.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The royal fanfare was composed by Ramin Djawadi for the first season of Game of Thrones, first occurring in the soundtrack "The King's Arrival." It has since been used as a leitmotif to represent royalty throughout World of Westeros media.
