Richard Dormer, born November 11, 1969 in Armagh, Northern Ireland, UK, is an actor based in the UK.
In Game of Thrones he plays Beric Dondarrion. He was announced as a guest star in the third season at San Diego Comic-Con 2012.[1] He replaced David Michael Scott, who briefly appeared as the character in the first season.
Dormer has also appeared in The Mighty Celt (2005), Mrs Henderson Presents (2005), My Boy Jack (2007), and Five Minutes of Heaven (2009).
Although they share the same last name, he is not related to actress Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell.
