Rain House[1] is a castle in the Stormlands, the region controlled by House Baratheon of Storm's End. It is the seat of House Wylde. The castle is located south-east of Storm's End, near the eastern tip of a peninsula extending into the Narrow Sea. It overlooks the southern coastline of Shipbreaker Bay, south of the island of Tarth.
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, Rain House is the seat of House Wylde. It lies on the far eastern edge of Cape Wrath.
In A Dance with Dragons, a force of the Golden Company captures Rain House on behalf of the presumed-dead Aegon Targaryen, the son of Rhaegar and Elia who has returned to Westeros to claim the Iron Throne.
