Background[]
Mycah Umber was the second born son of Lord Hothor Umber and his wife, Lady Amarylis Umber. He swore himself to the brotherhood of the Night's Watch at the age of twenty, but died fifteen years later north of Castle Black in a skirmish with outlaw tribes.[1]
