Magnar[1][a] is a word in the Old Tongue of the First Men and also the title held by the leader of the Thenn, a tribe of the Free Folk.
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, "Magnar" is also the name of a noble house established at Kinghouse, in the island of Skagos.
