Biography[]
Game of Thrones: Season 1[]
Joss Stilwood squires for the Mountain in the Tourney of the Hand. After Gregor is defeated in a joust by Loras Tyrell, he orders Joss to bring him his sword, then beheads his horse in anger.[1]
Game of Thrones: Season 4[]
Joss squires for Gregor when he faces Oberyn Martell in the second trial by combat of Tyrion Lannister.[2]
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, Joss Stilwood is the squire of Ser Gregor Clegane and belongs to his group of men-at-arms from the Westerlands, known as the Mountain's men. He takes part in the gang rape of Layna, an innkeeper's daughter.
