Javier Botet López (born 30 July 1977) is a Spanish actor. Diagnosed with Marfan syndrome at the age of five, Botet has extremely long and fine fingers along with a tall, thin build, standing at 6.6 feet (200 cm) tall and weighing 123 pounds (56 kg). His unique physical traits have led to him playing monstrous creatures in several horror and science fiction productions. His roles have included Tristana Medeiros in REC, REC 2 and REC 3: Genesis, the titular character in Mama, Margaret McDermott, Pamela Upton and Enola Sciotti in Crimson Peak, The Crooked Man in The Conjuring 2, the Xenomorph in Alien: Covenant, Set in The Mummy, The Hobo in It, Keyface in Insidious: The Last Key, the titular character in Slender Man and the Ba'ul in Star Trek: Discovery.
