In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, House Sarsfield is rarely mentioned. It blazons its arms with a green arrow on a white bend on the green. According to semi-canon sources, its words are "True to the Mark".
According to The World of Ice & Fire, House Sarsfield was formed by the union of First Men and Andal nobles during the coming of the Andals.

- Ser Melwyn Sarsfield.
- Shierle Swyft, his wife, daughter of Ser Harys Swyft.
With unspecified familiar relationship to the main branch of the house:
- {Unnamed squire} who accompanied Polliver and the Tickler when they encountered Arya Stark and the Hound at the Inn at the Crossroads. Killed by Arya during the ensuing brawl.
