House Peasebury[1] is a vassal house from the Stormlands that holds fealty to House Baratheon.
History[]
Game of Thrones: Season 4[]
Davos reports to Stannis he has managed to secure the support of some noble houses, among them House Peasebury.[1]
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, House Peasebury is a noble house from the Stormlands, seated at the castle of Poddingfield.
Only one member of the house is mentioned in the novels: Robin Peasebury, lord of Poddingfield.
During the War of the Five Kings, Lord Peasebury declares for Renly Baratheon and goes over to Stannis after Renly's death.
Following the Battle of the Blackwater, while several Stormlords bend the knee to Joffrey, House Peasebury remains loyal to Stannis.
Lord Robin Peasebury accompanies Stannis to the north. During the march to Winterfell, four of his men are caught cannibalizing dead bodies and are executed at Stannis's order. Much to Lord Peasebury's embarrassment, there are rumors that he surely knew what his men were doing, and might even have shared in their feasts. When he calls Justin Massey craven, the latter retorts "Better a craven than a cannibal".

Notes[]
- ↑ In "Winter Is Coming," which takes place in 298 AC, Sansa Stark tells Cersei Lannister that she is 13 years old and Bran Stark tells Jaime Lannister that he is 10 years old. Arya Stark was born between Sansa and Bran, making her either 11 or 12 in Season 1. The rest of the Stark children have been aged up by 2 years from their book ages, so it can be assumed that she is 11 in Season 1. Arya is 18 in Season 8 according to HBO, which means at least 7 years occur in the span of the series; therefore, each season of Game of Thrones must roughly correspond to a year in-universe, placing the events of Season 4 in 301 AC.
