House Grandison[1][a] of Grandview is a vassal house from the Stormlands that holds fealty to House Baratheon. Their sigil is a black sleeping lion on a yellow field.
History[]
House Grandison was one of the three loyalist houses that defied their liege lord, Robert Baratheon, at the beginnings of Robert's Rebellion. Along with two other noble houses, House Grandison was defeated at the Battle of Summerhall in the course of a single day.[2]

In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, House Grandison is a vassal house sworn to Storm's End. Their seat is Grandview and their words are "Rouse Me Not".
Ser Harlan Grandison, an old knight, served in the Kingsguard of Aerys II. He died in his sleep at the White Sword Tower, and was replaced by Jaime Lannister.
The current head of the family is Lord Hugh Grandison, an old man dubbed Greybeard.
