House Broome[2][a] is a noble house from the Westerlands. Their sigil is a silver helm crested with wings on green and black checks.[1]
Members[]
- Ser {Alfred Broome}, a knight in service of House Targaryen during the Dance of the Dragons.
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, there is no mention of House Broome. In Fire & Blood, the Broomes were among the houses who sided with the Faith Militant uprising. Their castle was burned by King Maegor the Cruel's dragon Balerion.[3]
Lady Lucinda Broome was married to Lord Prentys Tully.[4]
It is unknown whether House Broome is related to House Broom, one of the principal vassals of House Lannister. In House of the Dragon, Ser Alfred Broome is shown wearing the sigil of House Broom on his armor, suggesting that House Broome and House Broom are in fact the same.
