Gregor Clegane's father was the second head of House Clegane. He was the son of Gregor Clegane's grandfather, the founder of the house.

Biography

The second head of House Clegane wanted a knight within his family, a wish that was fulfilled by his son Gregor, who was personally anointed by Rhaegar Targaryen with the influence of Tywin. Later, he was killed in a suspicious hunting accident.

This man was known to have favored Gregor over Sandor, going so far as to protect Gregor when the former burned half of Sandor's face.
