A map showing the location of the Ghiscari Strait off the coast of Essos.
The Ghiscari Strait[1] is a narrow body of water separating the islands of New Ghis from the mainland of Essos. It is located in Ghiscari territory. The strait links the Gulf of Grief with the Summer Sea.[2]

In A Song of Ice and Fire, the Ghiscari Strait separates the islands of New Ghis and Ghaen from the mainland.
