Background
Gareth Umber is an early member of House Umber. He was the fourth born son of Lord Hothor Umber and his wife, Lady Amarylis Umber. At the age of twenty-four, he married Hollys Tallhart, with whom he had five children.

He has an entry in The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms.[1]

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, there is no such character.
