So, my aunt told me the other day that she remembered this story. Not the five books that have already been published, but what happens next.

  • NOT SPOILERS BUT SPECULATIVE DETAILS*

She says Dany will come back to Westeros with the Imp as one of her riders, immediately to face the threat of the Whitewalkers from the North.

She says she read this in another book but can't remember anything about the book.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT?

We're just trying to figure out what she read if anything.

Nope, that hasn't happend in the books.--Mesmermann (talk) 12:46, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
There are various interviews in which George R.R. Martin has stated what his literary influences were, but what author doesn't have influences from previous literature? Martin did acknowledge one fantasy book with vaguely similar setting/conception of "Low Fantasy", gritty and medieval, the "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn" series by Tad Williams....but there are many other literary influences on Martin's work. http://io9.com/10-sources-that-george-r-r-martin-borrowed-from-for-ic-511679817 --The Dragon Demands (talk) 20:28, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
