A thought occurs...Jaqen H'ghar gave Arya Stark that special old Braavosi coin to give to any man from Braavos (along with saying "Valar Morghulis"), to them them know that she seeks the Faceless Men of Braavos. Jaqen was in the dungeons of King's Landing. Surely they would have confiscated any valuables he retained on his person. How then did Jaqen still have the coin?
- Jaqen was captured, put in a King's Landing dungeon. He knew if the Gold Cloaks ever saw the coin it'd be confiscated, taken away. The way Jaqen looked at it, that coin was his birthright. He'd be damned if any Gold Cloaks were gonna put their greasy hands on his birthright. So he hid it in the one place he knew he could hide something..."
