The show really missed an opportunity by never having a full Renly/Loras sex scene. They're one of the few major homosexual couples on the show and they didn't use this while they had the chance.

- Given that Oberyn openly says he wants to have a threesome in the books, I don't think they'll pass that up. Andalish people form other parts of Westeros act like the Dornish are "exotic", but the door swings both ways: Oberyn and Ellaria think blonde-haired Andal people are "exotic", so when he comes to King's Landing, he makes an off-hand remark that he wants to find a good brothel with a hot blonde whore to "share" with Ellaria because she's never had a blonde girl before.
- At any rate my hope is that they give some "Sexposition" scenes involving Oberyn that highlight that he's not just frisky but he and his wife are into bi stuff; the only canon homosexual couple on this show was Renly/Loras and they didn't use them prominently enough before Renly died. Moreover, I have this idea that they should use that brothel scene with Oberyn as a segway into him meeting with Varys, just as the TV show portrayed Varys meeting with Illyrio Mopatis in Season 1, making it clear that the Martells are Targaryen-loyalists.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 13:33, August 16, 2013 (UTC)
