Esmé Augusta Bianco (born 25 May 1982) is an English actress, model and burlesque/cabaret performer. She has appeared in a number of short films and music videos, as well as performing at live events including the Brit Awards. She featured prominently in the Agent Provocateur lingerie label 2003 campaign. She appeared in a well reviewed show at the Victoria and Albert Museum singing "Put the Blame on Mame", a song made famous by Rita Hayworth.
In Game of Thrones she is playing the role of Ros, a prostitute working in Winterfell. She was confirmed in the role on 5 October 2009. Her character was formerly known as "Red-Headed Whore" until she was given a name at George R.R. Martin's suggestion. Martin has suggested she could return in later episodes. Ros is the first character created specifically for the television series who is not in the books. She initially appeared as a guest star in the first season and returned in this role for the second season. She features in several of the show's infamous "sexposition" scenes. Her role ended in a surprise twist halfway through the third season.
