Elena Egen was a member of House Egen and the wife of Andar Royce, Lord of Runestone. She is the mother of Yohn Royce, as well as of his brothers Maxim Royce and Waymar Royce.
Biography[]
Elena Egen was a daughter of Lord Xander Egen and Rusalia Egen. She married Andar Royce on his eighteenth nameday and bore him three sons Yohn, Maxim, and Waymar Royce.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Elena Egen is mentioned in the section on House Royce in the Season 1 prop for The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. The section on House Royce never appears on-screen in the TV series, as its planned appearance, where Eddard Stark would have read from it, was cut.
In the books[]
Elena Egen is referenced only in the TV adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire and has no corresponding counterpart in the books. The name of Yohn Royce's mother has not been mentioned in the books.
