In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the name "Eddard" is only known to be given in the north. There are two characters by that name: Eddard Stark, and his namesake Eddard Karstark, one of Rickard Karstark's sons. There is no character named Eddard in Fire & Blood.
