David Horovitch (born 11 August 1945) is an English actor, perhaps best known for his role as Inspector Slack in Miss Marple. He has played many roles on popular British television series over the past forty years including Thriller, The New Avengers, Prince Regent, Piece of Cake, Bulman, Hold the Back Page, Boon, Love Hurts, Westbeach, Just William, Drop the Dead Donkey, Peak Practice, Foyle's War, The Second Coming, Deceit and Casualty. He was also appeared in films such as An Unsuitable Job for a Woman, The Dirty Dozen: The Deadly Mission, Solomon & Gaenor, 102 Dalmatians and The Young Victoria.
He portrays Grand Maester Mellos in House of the Dragon.[1]
