Daniel Minahan is an American Hugo Award winning director. He has worked on the HBO series True Blood, John From Cincinnati, Deadwood and Six Feet Under, as well as Grey's Anatomy and The L Word.
For Game of Thrones Minahan directed episodes 6, 7 and 8 of the first season. He returned for the third season and helmed the season premiere "Valar Dohaeris" as well as the second episode "Dark Wings, Dark Words."[1]
