First Season 6 trailer:

0:01 - 0:10 - It remains to be explained why the Night's Watch officers mutinied against Jon in the TV series; in the novels it was because he wanted to fight the Boltons. Why stab Jon over letting wildlings through the Wall...after letting the wildlings through the Wall? (See Mother's Mercy - Jon Snow's fate)
0:10-0:15 - Other promo pics confirm Jaime is returning to King's Landing with Myrcella's dead body; she hasn't been poisoned in the novels yet, though some of the Sand Snakes were leaving to infiltrate the royal court, implying they might.
0:19-0:22 - Roose Bolton looks disapprovingly at a nervous Ramsay, who rode out to battle against his father's orders, allowing Sansa and Theon to escape.
(This may spur Roose to renounce Ramsay as his heir - and in retaliation, maybe Ramsay will kill Roose?)
0:23 - The big battle promised between the remnants of the Stark-loyal Houses in the North and the Boltons.
0:33-37 - A widowed khaleesi must return to Vaes Dothrak, to join the Dosh khaleen (council of crones), but after Drogo died Daenerys refused. Khal Jhaqo found her, and he is her enemy, but he can't just kill her because it is sacrilege to kill a widowed khaleesi. So she's being forced back to Vaes Dothrak (not mounted, but in shame on foot).
Casting reports indicate that a great gathering of all of the scattered Dothraki khalasars is going to take place in Vaes Dothrak. The crowd shot of all the khalasars entering the city was filmed in Spain and included 1,200 extras.
0:43 - 0:45 - The ironborn started a major new subplot in the fourth novel but it was pushed back to Season 6. Euron Greyjoy has returned to the Iron Islands, and at his instigation House Greyjoy plans a massive new offensive against the weakened mainland. He is opposed by his niece Yara Greyjoy, who wants to preserve their forces.
0:56 - Cersei's champion is called "Robert Strong" in the novels, though it is obvious to many that he is Gregor Clegane, revived and transformed into some kind of 8 foot tall Frankenstein's monster by Qyburn.
0:58 - A flashback scene to young Eddard Stark and his companions at the end of Robert's Rebellion: the Showdown at the Tower of Joy, fighting the last of the Targaryen Kingsguard.
1:03 - I can't tell what this ship on the ocean is
1:04 - Arya has been rendered blind, poisoned after mis-using a Faceless Men mask for a personally motivated kill. The Waif resents her and will apparently attack her. Arya will have to think like a cat to survive this.
1:05 - Margaery Tyrell remains imprisoned by the Faith Militant.
1:06 - Is that a man killing a wight with fire?
1:07-1:08 - montage:
- battle in the north; note the House Umber and House Karstark banners showing them on the Bolton side.
- shutters of Meereen's pyramid blown in by gust of wind from dragon wings?
- Theon running from Bolton soldiers
1:09 - Euron Greyjoy being ceremonially drowned (to be revived with CPR) in a religious ceremony by one of the Drowned Men priests. Balon's cruel and cunning younger brother, he was first mentioned by Tyrion way back in Season 1 episode 4. In the novels he is a MAJOR antagonist, as important as Roose Bolton and Walder Frey.
1:10 - Brienne of Tarth killing the Bolton soldiers chasing Theon?
1:11 - The hand reaching towards a brazier of fire is actually Daenerys, not Melisandre: you can tell from the distinctive ring she wears on her index finger. It's actually her mother's ring and the only piece of costuming that has remained unchanged for Daenerys throughout the series (she's worn it since the very first episode). See "Costumes: Major Characters - Daenerys Targaryen"
- Melisandre opening her gown yet again for some reason - but looking sad. This couldn't be a Nissa Nissa moment for Azor Ahai?
- Jon's body on the slab
1:13-1:15 - This is in Braavos (you can tell from the costumes). The person jumping off a roof is actually Arya, as she is attacked and chased by the Waif.
- More northern battle
1:15-1:16 - Apparently Yara Greyjoy kissing a prostitute. Novels never mentioned her as bisexual, but she is described as very sexually active. Alternatively, recall that she once let her long lost brother Theon feel her up sexually so she could mock him about his unwitting incestuous action later. She's a prankster - maybe this shot is taken out of context and she's just kissing a prostitute to excite/toy with/mock some ironborn men.
EDIT: I asked GRRM via his blog and he responded: No, book-Asha Greyjoy is not bisexual nor has she even experimented with women.
1:16 - Euron Greyjoy at Pyke castle on a rope bridge during a rainstorm.
1:16 - More of the flashback scene of young Eddard Stark fighting the Targaryen Kingsguard. Note the Kingsguard helmet and the Targaryen dragon sigil on his chest plate.
1:17 - I think that might be Varys's "Little birds" clubbing someone to death. Major scene from the end of the fifth novel.
1:18 - House Tyrell's army approaches the Great Sept, demanding Margaery's release
1:21-1:22 - In a dream sequence, Bran Stark stands with Night's King (you can tell it's a dream/vision because Bran can only stand in his visions)
1:30 - stinger: Jon Snow's body clearly on slab, with Ghost. Davos draws Longclaw.
