Bharbo was a revered khal amongst the Dothraki. He is the father of Drogo.[1]
Game of Thrones: Season 1[]
Rakharo tells Jorah Mormont that his father was a bloodrider to Khal Bharbo and was a great warrior.[1] When Drogo vows to cross the Narrow Sea and conquer the Seven Kingdoms in response to the attempted assassination of Daenerys, he swears by his father's name.[2]
Game of Thrones: Season 6[]
Bharbo is briefly mentioned when Daenerys is taken before Khal Moro - again specifically in reference to his son as "Drogo, son of Bharbo".[3]
In the books[]
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, Bharbo is mentioned in the same way as in the TV series; Drogo refers to him when swearing to retake the Iron Throne for Daenerys and for their son Rhaego.
