Beacon of the South[1] is a title held by the head of House Hightower of Oldtown.[1] Its current holder is Leyton Hightower.

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, "Beacon of the South" is one of the many styles used by the head of House Hightower. Others include "Defender of Oldtown," "Defender of the Citadel," "Lord of Oldtown," "Lord of the Hightower" (sometimes "High Tower"), "Lord of the Port," and "Voice of Oldtown."
