Ser Alfred Broome[1] is a household knight sworn to House Targaryen.
Biography[]
Background[]
Ser Alfred is from House Broome, a noble house of the Westerlands. He is a member of Rhaenyra Targaryen's Black Council.[2]
House of the Dragon: Season 2[]
Alfred is present at the Black Council when Rhaenyra returns from the Stormlands.[3]
Alfred is present when word of Prince Jaehaerys's murder and funeral reaches Dragonstone. He proposes countering the propaganda being spread by the Greens blaming Rhaenyra for ordering the killing by suggesting she did so in a moment of grief over the death of her son Lucerys. An offended Rhaenyra asks him if he thinks she would order a child's beheading out of her grief; when Alfred tries to defend his proposal of selling the killing as an act of vengeance made in haste, Princess Rhaenys rebukes him, and Alfred falls silent.[4]
