She even didn't turn mad in 6 episodes, but in 2, that's the problem. I've already submitted the idea but I'll do it again, what about? :
S8 : Long Night
S9 : Dany vs Cersei (War of Mad Queens)
S10 : Dany vs Sansa (Jon in the middle, confused as usual)
Most of story and the outcomes is the same but it's longer and better. Oh and we get an extra war, so why not?

Yes but foreshadowing is not character development. Only 6 episodes to wrap up everything wasn't enough.

S8 wasn't perfect, but overall, I liked it. Dany going mad was logical but not well made. When you have a character like her, literally the Wonder Woman of our century, you can't turn her evil in only 2 episodes, it takes time. I do believe all S8's problems had the same cause, not enough episodes. D&D has material for 2 more seasons, 5-6 episodes each.
