Well, we already know that certain things that have happened in the show will happen in the last two books, such as Shireen and Hodor's deaths and Bran becoming king.

bloody hell now i’m nervous. i just hope at the very least he does a better job than d&d. no doubt he will but still not the ending i hope for
because an ending like lotr would make most people a lot happier than what d&d did. and i dont know i thought i saw somewhere he was a fan of it, not sure where though
