And if it has more or less the same ending as the show would that bother you or not?
I don't care how they end, just so long as GRR keeps true to his style and attention to detail that he began with. Even if it ends the same way, I would hazard to guess it will be written much better.
All I know is I want to end way differently then the disaster that was “The Iron Throne” and the entirety of Season 8
i agree mr grimes, but i’m still not getting my hopes up :((( miss you in twd by the way
Well, we already know that certain things that have happened in the show will happen in the last two books, such as Shireen and Hodor's deaths and Bran becoming king.
I miss me too Jesssmmoon. But my profile says it all
I’m with Dave and Rick. And no offence Jessmoon, but I heard the opposite. I saw him in an interview and he said that he did’n’t like the way the stories provided no closure on the future of the remaining orcs or on the future problems facing Aragorn’s reign.
@aragorn. ohh ya kidding! do you know where he said that? i don’t remember where i saw that he liked the ending but i’m hoping i’m right on this one! 😆
😆 Not sure, could’ve been when they asked him about his characters’ names. Tell you what, I’ll look for it and if I find it, I’ll post “especially for you!” 😂
Why would he give it a similar ending to The Lord of the Rings? As much as we all love LOTR and it was a massive influence on George's writing, it's a very conventional fantasy story, and that's something he makes a point of avoiding.
What do you think?
