I can bring up the article but the guy who plays jaime, nikolai or whatever his name is, i guess he is also upset at any backlash, i have no idea if this is talking about just fan criticism of the writing or giving them like death threats on their twitter. If its the former, then again a very pathetic attempt. I have no problem with co workers sticking up for each other but this is getting annoying at this point, tons upon tons of shows get criticism in the history they've been, seriously why in the blue hell is game of thrones still getting this special treatment after its off the air?, I seriously think its because they were the so called most popular show on earth, if it wasnt for that, then this backlash at the backlash wouldnt happen. Like I didnt like true bloods last season as some of you know but at least the cast and writers didnt attack fans who critcized that season and its finale, they knew they have f'ed up and even if they didnt they knew they had the right to do so? And game of thrones last season and finale had more likes than the true blood finale so I dont get what the big deal is?, its like they felt on top of the world even after they did so called controversial moves like the red wedding and they could get away with it but as soon as they got shit from that last season, they couldnt handle the pressure and are lashing out, that is basically it. If you're a writer creating a product for the entire world to see, you have to expect criticism, you just have to, when fans tell you death threats or whatnot, then you can stand up for yourself and your co workers but when its simple things like this episode sucked cause of so and so, its unfair to the fans who just dont like the overall creative direction it was going. It also doesnt help that the more these cast attacks back, the fans arent going to take it lightly at that panel coming up.
Lastly it gives off the impression they really didnt care for the fans at all and just for the fans watching and buying the dvds and subscriping to hbo, it really does, they really feel like they are imploring the idea of whenever a student did something wrong in the classroom, the whole class is punished, basically they see it as one bad apple spoils the whole bunch, what a bunch of whiners. Maybe nikolai didnt attack the fans, i dont know but i still cant get over sophie and kits comments.
