THAT'S AWESOME!
Yes, the books are pretty great. However, there is a decline of quality towards the end -- mostly in pacing and layout -- but the storyline is amazing and way more complicated compared to the show.
Well there is gonna be a spin off soooo ;)
I'm currently in the middle of a ADWD: Dreams & Dust and I'm finding it to be less enjoyable than the others... the storyline is getting crazy...
The only reason the mountain won stuff was because of his size advantage.
Euron?
Euron is crazy. books and show.
Nope.
If Drogon was meant to take her to get resurrected then what's the point even? The story's ended, we'll never see it happen.
Oh, i like her. She's the best Tyrell. Imagine outliving your entire family lol.
The thing is with the Long Night - it didn't have to be that dark. They could've used proper film techniques by shooting it in the daylight then editing it to be darker. It was really hard to see what was going on -- and TGL shouldn't have been a single battle. It should have spanned across a couple of episodes, but of course there wasn't enough time for it.
Dany, Littlefinger, Varys, Jaime & Cersei.
All are completely underwhelming, rushed and badly done. (I still don't understand why Arya just slit his throat in the middle of the hall, yeah...could have done it outside...)
Yeah, Emilia didn't get to have a lot of emotional variety with Dany I think. Personally, I thought Maisie did a really good job too.
I thought it was stupid how Renly thought he could become king while ignoring the line of succession. Sure, he could assume the throne by right of conquest, but how ruthlessly ambitious do you have to be? Talk about dishonor. Stannis was Robert's heir.
Westeros is not a democracy. Why should the people's opinion matter? Popularity amongst peasants isn't a valid excuse. There might be a few uprisings during his reign, but overall Stannis would have at least been a better king than any of the Lannisters. Not my favourite character, but I can't deny the people of Westeros did not do him any justice.
Yep. She's my favourite celebrity. I mean, she isn't the best actor out there but i really think she deserved an Emmy for the last season. That speech was just chilling and you can tell she really gave it her all.
Kinda, with Stannis. He was the true heir after all... (before jon's identity was revealed)
Probably not. the war was mainly about succession, in GoT it was more about influence and intrigue.
Yeah but still, its in the name too.
Imo that would have been cringey.
Lancasters legit had lions for their arms, and the Yorks had a rose? Maybe the roles have been changed a little (i mean, i don't know too much about the WOTR) but there's definitely an intentional resemblance here.
Definitely based tyrell on the Yorks, since the events of Game of Thrones were inspired by the War of the Roses.
Uh, calm down. if this show makes you made don't surround yourself in its fandom haHA
